Chandigarh, April 23 : Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini said that after May 31, a total of 670 million liters per day (MLD) of water supply will be made available to residents of Gurugram. He directed officials to ensure this is achieved to prevent any inconvenience to the public during the summer season. In addition, he said that 400 new electric buses will soon be deployed in Gurugram to enhance public transportation. Chandigarh, April 21- Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, in a significant announcement for the welfare of farmers, said that the state government will provide compensation for crop losses caused by recent fire incidents. So far, damage has been reported over approximately 801 acres. Deputy Commissioners have been directed to prepare detailed reports and assess the extent of the damage. In addition to crop loss, if farmers have suffered damage to livestock or any other loss, the government will ensure they are duly compensated.
