Govt making every effort to provide modern healthcare and education facilities : Arora

Sunam, 13 January : Aam Aadmi Party Punjab President Aman Arora initiated various new projects in his personal assembly constituency Sunam and accelerated development works. During this, Aman Arora said that the Punjab government is making every effort to provide modern healthcare and education facilities to the people of the state. The government is equipping government schools and hospitals with modern technology and aims to take them to a higher level than private institutions.

Aman Arora laid the foundation stone of a science lab at Government Senior Secondary School in village Chowas of Sunam constituency. On this occasion, Aman Arora said that the Aam Aadmi Party’s biggest priority is to provide good educational facilities to our new generation. Only if our new generation receives good education will our Punjab be able to progress. He said that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s dream is to make Punjab a vibrant Punjab. Therefore, modern facilities are being provided in all government schools of Punjab. He said that since the Aam Aadmi Party government was formed in Punjab, the condition of government schools has become equal to private schools. Now we will create such conditions that people will prefer to admit their children to government schools instead of private schools.

Mr. Aman Arora also laid the foundation stone of a science lab to be built at a cost of 11 lakh rupees in the Senior Secondary School of village Ubhawal and another science lab costing 11 lakh rupees in village Nimol.

After this, Aman Arora laid the foundation stone of a drug warehouse to be built at a cost of three and a half crore rupees in Sunam’s Civil Hospital. On this occasion, he informed that drug warehouses are being built in all areas of Punjab. This will address the shortage of medicines in government hospitals. The drug warehouse to be built in Sunam will prove to be a boon not only for Sangrur but also for surrounding districts, as this warehouse will always have medicines worth 15 to 18 crore rupees available. Therefore, the problem of medicine shortage in hospitals will be completely resolved. Previously, there were complaints that sometimes due to unavailability of medicine, the patient’s condition worsened and they had to be referred to other bigger hospitals. Therefore, now with the drug warehouse nearby, a large stock of medicines will remain stored in this warehouse. Whenever any hospital faces a shortage of any medicine, it will be immediately sent from this warehouse to that hospital.

Aman Arora said that the Aam Aadmi Party government will spare no effort in providing health and education facilities to the people of the state.
