Faridkot, December 10: Avtar Singh Barar Memorial Welfare Society Faridkot organized a blood donation camp today at Green Avenue to commemorate the 8th death anniversary of former Education Minister Avtar Singh Barar.
The society’s chief convenor Navdeep Singh Babu Barar and general secretary Maghar Singh Khalsa stated that former Education Minister Avtar Singh Barar’s contribution was not just significant for Faridkot, but for the entire Punjab. They emphasized that he dedicated his entire life to the welfare of Punjab and the region.
Mr. Barar’s works continue to be a source of inspiration for people. Therefore, this society organizes a blood donation camp every year on his death anniversary to serve poor and needy patients.
The blood donation camp saw participation from Navdeep Singh Babu Barar, Dr. Baljit Sharma Golewala, Avtar Singh Khosa (manager of Sarkar-E-Khalsa International Trust Australia and Director of Supreme Australia International Multi-Cultural Languages School), Jagjeet Singh Sekhon (Shampy Sekhon) and a large number of young people who donated blood.
On this occasion, Sr. Babu Singh Barar, Gurtej Singh (former sarpanch of Dhudi), and Kamaljeet Singh Sandhu (Kami Singh) from Hawk Real Estate in Australia also provided special support.
