Chandigarh, April 30– On the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini unveiled a series of development initiatives for the Hodal Assembly Constituency in Palwal district. While addressing the Brij Vikas Rally in Hodal, the Chief Minister inaugurated three key development projects worth Rs 10 crore and announced several others aimed at transforming the region. Nayab Singh Saini directed Forest Department officials to build as many check dams as possible in the hilly forest areas so that water can be conserved during the rainy season. This will not only fulfill the water requirement of the trees and plants of the forest but will also help in maintaining the groundwater level. Chandigarh, April 26 : Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said the central and state governments are true well-wishers of farmers. This is proven by the fact that all crops of farmers in Haryana are being purchased on MSP and in the last 10 and a half years, the government has given Rs 14500 crore to farmers for crop loss, whereas before 2014, during the Congress government, only Rs 1155 crore were given to farmers as crop loss compensation. The previous Congress government in Punjab and now the current Aam Aadmi Party government have never taken care of the farmers nor have they purchased the crops of farmers on MSP. He added that Khaps can play a key role in helping young people overcome drug addiction, a serious issue that is adversely impacting the entire society. Chandigarh, April 24 : On the occasion of National Panchayati Raj Day, Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini gave a development bonanza worth Rs. 368 crore to the state's panchayats. During the state-level ‘Gram Utthan Samaroh’ held in Panchkula, the Chief Minister inaugurated 923 development works worth Rs. 233 crore and laid the foundation stones for 413 works worth Rs. 135 crore. Further strengthening grassroots governance, the Chief Minister also transferred Rs. 573 crore to 22 Zila Parishads, 142 Panchayat Samitis, and 5,388 Gram Panchayats as their share of stamp duty revenue.
