Chandigarh, April 24 : On the occasion of National Panchayati Raj Day, Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini gave a development bonanza worth Rs. 368 crore to the state's panchayats. During the state-level ‘Gram Utthan Samaroh’ held in Panchkula, the Chief Minister inaugurated 923 development works worth Rs. 233 crore and laid the foundation stones for 413 works worth Rs. 135 crore. Chandigarh, April 23 : Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini said that after May 31, a total of 670 million liters per day (MLD) of water supply will be made available to residents of Gurugram. He directed officials to ensure this is achieved to prevent any inconvenience to the public during the summer season. Chandigarh, April 21- Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, in a significant announcement for the welfare of farmers, said that the state government will provide compensation for crop losses caused by recent fire incidents. So far, damage has been reported over approximately 801 acres. Deputy Commissioners have been directed to prepare detailed reports and assess the extent of the damage. In addition to crop loss, if farmers have suffered damage to livestock or any other loss, the government will ensure they are duly compensated.
