Patiala, 2 December: Punjab’s Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has announced that the Punjab government has so far provided jobs to five thousand young people. He said that opportunities for providing jobs in various departments are being created.
During an event held in Patiala, appointment letters were handed over to newly recruited young people. Addressing the gathering, Bhagwant Mann said that the Aam Aadmi Party government has provided record-breaking opportunities for youth within its 32-month tenure. He stated that in addition to providing employment to 5,000 young men and women, efforts are being made to instill a sense of hard work and dedication among the youth.
He emphasized that jobs in every department are being given transparently based on merit. Motivating the youth, he said that hard work is the key to success. There are no shortcuts. He added that those who descend by parachute never succeed in life. Success is achieved only by those who remain grounded and have faith in hard work.
Mann said the government is establishing a system where vacancies in any department will be immediately filled through new recruitment. He expressed complete satisfaction with their 32-month performance, as Punjab’s people are appreciating their policies.
The Chief Minister also mentioned that several medical colleges are being opened in different areas of Punjab. The government will now focus on medical education in Punjab. He expressed confidence that Punjab will soon become a hub of medical education.
