A total of 149 patients screened and treated
Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot and Community Health centre, Bajakhana organized a mega medical checkup and treatment camp today at village Jhakharwala (Bajakhana) under the able guidance of Respected SDM Jaitu, Dr Nirmal Ouseppachan, Civil Surgeon Faridkot, Dr Naresh Kumar Bathla and Senior Medical Officer, CHC, Bajakhana, Dr Ramesh Kumar. The camp was inaugurated by Dr Nirmal Ouseppachan. Giving further information, Dr Nirmal told that doctors of various specialities such as Medicine, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics and Surgery were offering free checkup and treatment at the camp. Free diagnostic, treatment and counseling facilities were made available and a total of 149 patients were offered free checkup and treatment. BEE, Mr Sudhir Dhir and Mr Flag Chawla conducted sensitization and awareness sessions regarding immunization and ill effects of drug abuse. General public was also sensitized about various treatment facilities and available schemes and programs related to health. At conclusion, Sarpanch Mr Pritpal Singh and Mr Jagdev Singh extended their vote of thanks to all the team members.
